Bike to Work Day is Wednesday, June 24, 2026! Bike commuters can enjoy a FREE breakfast at stations on the trail system and at local businesses.
What is Bike to Work Day?
Bike to Work Day is nationwide effort to celebrate cycling and encourage folks to try cycling for transportation on just one day. It’s healthier, more cost-effective and contributes to cleaner air in our region. Who knows – you just might have so much fun that cycling to work becomes a regular habit! Colorado Springs has a robust cycling infrastructure and trail system that helps you get from here to there quickly and safely, all while enjoying our beautiful City and outdoors!
Bike Valet
Bike Valet from Mountain Metro Transit is FREE for City sponsored events. The bike racks are portable, light, and easy to set up.

Sign up as an Individual Rider
Just get your body and bike into shape and join us on June 24, 2026 from 6-9 a.m! See our map below for our free breakfast stations and plan your route and be on your way!
Be a Corporate Champion and sign up your workplace
The simplest way to become involved is to sign your company up as a Corporate Champion. You’re saying YES to giving cycling for transportation a try. We’ll provide you with a nifty poster to hang in your office to encourage your staff, vendors and partners to try cycling on June 24, 2026.

Host a Breakfast Station
Want to share your enthusiasm with cyclists throughout the City? Sign up to be a breakfast station. You’ll agree to provide a FREE breakfast for up to 100 cyclists throughout the community. Your offering can be as simple or elaborate as you like and it’s first-come first-served for just the first 100 cyclists. We’ll share info about your breakfast station on our citywide map. In addition to posters, stickers and wayfinding signage for the event, we’ll provide your breakfast station staff with limited edition Bike to Work Day gear (quantities are limited) to wear that day!
Host a Bicycle Clinic
Want to REALLY supercharge your involvement? Host an advance clinic to help new and out-of-practice riders back on their bikes and out on the roads and trails. Clinic content could include: getting your body ready to ride, wayfinding and safe riding practices, how to find/fit the right bike for you, maintaining your bike to ensure it’s safe and ride-ready, or any number of other fun and informative clinics to connect YOUR business with the riding community.

Lunch & Learn with Graham
Location: Buffalo Lodge Bicycle Resort @ 2 El Paso Blvd
Date/Time: April 18; 12:30-1:30 p.m.
Join us for an informative Lunch and Learn with Graham from Westside Bicycle Service, and pick up some useful bicycle repair skills while enjoying a lunch with fellow cyclists! Every third Saturday, after our Saturday Morning rides, head to our main lodge building with a sack lunch, or pick up a snack at our lodge bar. Graham will teach a different topic each time, and the lunch will happen even if the ride is cancelled due to inclement weather.

Bike Tune Up & Happy Hour with Medicine Wheel Trail Advocates

Join us to celebrate Bike to Work Day at Goat Patch–Lincoln Center! 🚲 We’re teaming up with Medicine Wheel Trail Advocates to host a free bike tune-up station, so you can give your ride a little love after the commute. Biked to work? Show up on two wheels and enjoy $1 off pints as a reward. Tune-ups + beer specials from 5–8 PM.
