About
The Deerfield Hills Community Center continues its tradition of offering a positive and safe environment for children of all ages. The wide array of program opportunities and community services, along with a dynamic center staff, make this a well-utilized neighborhood resource. Deerfield Hills offers a variety of summer activities. Check out the Sprayground to stay cool during the summer months.

- Join us for art, learning, friendship, adventure, and social time.
- Free and open to seniors 55+. All skill levels welcome, all supplies provided.

May 9, 2026 – Women's Health Fair
- 9:00 am-12:00 pm
- Free and open to women of all ages, no registration required.
- Resource booths, and addition resources provided by the El Paso County Public Health Dept.
- Red Herring Coffee truck available for purchase.
May 13, 2026 – Artsy Escapes
- 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
- Free and open to all adults. All skill levels welcome, all supplies provided.
- Limited spaces available, please register or call to reserve your seat.
May 15, 2026 – Southeast Food Coalition Cooking Class
- 6:00-8:00 pm
- Free and open to all adults and children 6 and up. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
- All supplies to be provided. Registration required.

May 19, 2026 – Community Playgroup
- 10:00-11:00 a.m.
- Join us as the Pikes Peak Children's Museum presents "How does your garden grow?
- Free and open to all youth 0-5 with a caregiver.
- Activities, play and light snacks.

- 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
- Join us for art, learning, friendship, adventure, and social time.
- Free and open to seniors 55+. All skill levels welcome, all supplies provided.

- 10 -11 a.m.
- Free and open to everyone. No appointment required for this “choice pantry”.
- Distribution is on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Please do not arrive before 9:30 a.m. and bring your own bags.
May 22, 2026 – Mobile Food Pantry
- 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
- Free and open to everyone.
- Appointments required for this drive through style pantry, call the center for details.
May 27, 2026 – Artsy Escapes

- Presented by Ormao Dance Studio.
- Open to all seniors 55+, no dance experience needed.
May 28, 2026 – Wellness Waggin’ Pet Vaccine Clinic
- 9:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
- Pikes Peak Humane Society will have their Wellness Waggin, in the parking lot to provide ow cost and some free services thanks to PetCo Love.
